Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

Re: Kirby Smart explains why he started Stetson Bennett against Florida, updates JT Daniels health
Injuries happen to QB's all the time. Most work to overcome the injury and win their starting job back.. Daniels failed to do that at USC with Slovis waiting to display his talents, which obviously impressed the coaches enough to name Slovis as the starter. As I've stated before, I don't care if Kirby starts Jordan Davis… -
Re: Georgia recruiting: Social media sounds off on Branson Robinson becoming next member of ‘RBU’
I’m not sure why we were optimistic about this guy. I realize he had UGA listed in his final 3-4 teams, but 100% of the “crystal balls” had him headed to Penn State and those predictions were with “high confidence”. On the flip side, the Crystal balls had Branson headed to Athens so I’m ecstatic he made the right decision… -
Re: Georgia football-South Carolina instant observations as Bulldogs slog their way to an SEC win
A tough, hard fought win. It was good to see the resilience the DAWGS showed, coming back from a double digit deficient. But, with the talent gap between the 2 teams, it should have never came to that. 1st half, DAWGS didn't look like a top 25 team, much less #1. I bet Kirbys's halftime speech wasn't suitable for small… -
Re: Stegeman superlatives: Pistol Pete, a perfect ‘40′ and Elton John
Another nice read Bill! I also walked across the stage of Stegeman Coliseum as member of the CSHS graduating class of 1980.I've also attended many events over the years there as well. From basketball games, rodeos, concerts (Stevie Ray Vaughn with the Fabulous T-Birds opening the show , Atlanta Rhythm Section on Halloween… -
Re: Georgia football Hall of Fame coach Mark Richt explains why Mike Bobo hire makes perfect sense
I seriously doubt Kirby promotes Bobo to OC, if it he didn't think it would benefit the players, or the team. Only time will tell how good of a decision it was to promote Bobo. Kirby has 2 National Championships, I have ZERO lol, so Kirby knows what he's doing. He's proven that in grand fashion, in back to back seasons. I… -
Re: Justin Greene commitment a much-needed win for Georgia football defensive line recruiting
Agree 100%! And not only Coach Scott, but TE Coach Hartley, and LB, Co-DC Schumann aren't too shabby themselves. Kirby made great hires when he added those 3 to his staff. All were relatively unknowns at the time they were hired by Kirby. While Coach Scott did have several years of coaching experience under his belt, I… -
Re: College Football Playoff committee praises Georgia, beat writers discuss Georgia Tech rivalry
No defense they've faced compares to the DAWGS Defense. I'm with you, I hope Cincy gets a chance to find that out firsthand. I agree, it's definitely not the same team for either school since the bowl game. I'd say UGA is much better than the last time they faced Cincy. Watching UC struggle against "powerhouse" teams such… -
Re: LIVE BLOG: Auburn 3, Georgia 0
It'll be a tough call for Kirby, but it would be hard to sit a QB that's playing well vs a QB that has only played 9 of 24 quarters this season. I like JT, but at this point, Stetson has shown he's a very capable replacement. Looks like Stetson has worked quite a bit on deep throws downfield, and it's showing. Personally,… -
Re: Brock Bowers: If TightRope surgery needed could miss rest of regular season
Some forget..Oscar Delp was the #1or #2 TE (depending on the ranking service you look at) in his class. Delp is no Brock Bowers, no one is, but he's a pretty good TE himself. Same with Luckie, and Spurlin, both good TE's themselves. It'll take all 3 of those guys stepping up, plus the WR's, to help take the pressure off of… -
Re: Closer look: Why ESPN ranks two-time champ Georgia the No. 3 team of the 2020s
Alabama I can understand, but ohio state? What a joke, ohio st. has not won as many games as UGA , or won against quality opponents, like UGA has in the past 3 years. Nor has Ohio st. posted a 29-1 record in back to back seasons, with 2 National Championships to show for their effort. What has ohio st. won lately? Other…
