Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

Re: Next To Commit To The G 2020
Sorry, but I just wish he would say in or out. I would love to see him in Athens, but at some point, all the back and forth gets old. If he wants to be a Dawg, just come out and say it. If he does not want to be here fine, it is not like we will be hurting at RB next year. He is an 18 yo making a decision, not the center… -
Re: Next To Commit To The G 2020
My last post isn’t a personal attack on anyone. I thoroughly enjoy the content brought to this site from guys like So_Fl and others. I just get my hopes up with some of the top targets that slip away. I’m just saying I take all mocks with a grain of salt. Nobody knows where a 17 or 18 year old will end up until they are… -
Re: Next To Commit To The G 2020
I want Zach Evans on the Dawgs. UGA will be fine without him but he's a hell of a player and despite him acting like an 18 year old on social media and perhaps needing some guidance/maturity, his peers like him. Kirby and Dell are cool with him then I'm cool with him. I just don't want to see people writing off a player… -
Re: Next To Commit To The G 2020
Truthfully, I cringed when I saw the IG post. But I am still in the "clean slate" crowd. Get him on campus, give him a chance, and then we'll see what he's made of, on the field and off. I am glad they didn't have social media and cellphones when I was 18. I'm sure I would have made a fool of myself too. Many times over. -
Re: Next To Commit To The G 2020
The scholarship is immediately available; the ability to fill it will depend on how many leave early via NFL or transfers. It can of course be filled 2019 by a WO that has been enrolled at UGA for 2 or more years. Prather Hudson would be a good candidate IMO for a 1 year scholarship which would be renewed if he stayed for… -
Re: Next To Commit To The G 2020
The "grown adults" (as opposed to grown children or shrunk adults?) are only concerned with UGA football. An 18 year old boy's decisions are naturally a part of that. Keeping up with Georgia football is a hobby, separate from raising my own three children. I'll bet most of the forum members turn off Dawgnation at church or… -
Re: Next To Commit To The G 2020
Have these components really changed? I thought CKS made an interesting comment in yesterday's press conference where he talked about his brain being locked into football 98% of the time in comparison to 18-21 year olds at about 5-10%. My point is, psychology has always been part of a coaches tool box when you're trying to… -
Re: Next To Commit To The G 2020
What?! we should all be Mullen fans. They’re going no where but he’s winning so the mediocrity will continue. They have 1 player we wanted. They lost every primary and secondary target they wanted excluding Dexter. In 18 months he’ll be hating this decision but Mullen will win 8-9 games annually so we get to keep him… -
Re: Next To Commit To The G 2020
Yes, and it fits the narrative that makes the most sense to me (Occam's Razor): He may not be able to EE. I will refrain from speculating that Z. Evans has done anything dramatic or crazy or negative. I won't share a paragraph on what I would do if I were the HC. Because I don't really know what's going on, and I wouldn't… -
Re: Next To Commit To The G 2020
I agree he doesn't care a BIT for anybody that doesn't WANT to be a DAWG. But I believe what @DGD28 meant was for momentum. There's no denying that MO is as important as or in some cases MORE important than some things in ANY sport. He wnt take a commit just to snag one at the same time as school X, but these 16, 17, and…
