I agree that is why. But my question is this, wouldn't that of been a good time to throw more, especially with the back ups? Not likely to change the outcome of the game, maybe just changes the point spread margins of the games. Being up by 37 against Arkansas with the whole 4th qtr left, would of loved to have seen BV… -

But honestly, what's the difference in dragging out the game with an offense that can't move the ball, or a defense that plays prevent? Clock still moves the same. I bring up the UK game of 2020. Offense was pitiful, couldn't move the ball and the defense was on the field for 37 minutes. 5 starters were injured in that…
