Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

Baseball - Your Top-5 Starting Rotation w/ One Closer and Three Honorable Mentions
After some discussion w/ a few board members, we've come to the decision that we will not restrict this list to being era-specific, though you can def use that in your calculus for why you include a certain pitcher. Current pitchers cannot be included because their career is still in progress. I also advise striking… -
Re: Georgia football Ohio State instant observations as Bulldogs win a classic comeback
Observations: PAC12 referees had me concerned. They don't see the physical football played in the SEC. On the whole they seemed okay. Mostly let them play. I never thought that OSU would play a cleaner game than UGA. I only remember 1 penalty on OSU the whole game. An offensive holding call in the 2nd half. They got the… -
Re: Kirby Smart makes QB declaration on SEC Network, helps Stetson Bennett polish fundamentals
I think the problem is determining what is meant by "best" QB. Of course Bennett is going to be considered the "best" in Practice because practice doesn't simulate a game like playing Bama. I guarantee you that in the past 2 weeks, the practices haven't adjusted to our failure points. I'm sure the D wasn't pushing Bennett… -
Re: Gunner Stockton becomes more pivotal figure in future of Georgia football quarterback room
One could certainly make the case that heading into fall practices that Beck is ahead of Brock. Beck certainly looked much better than Brock IMO in the Spring game. That said, unless someone has a crystal ball, who knows what will transpire going into the season. Certainly at this stage saying without reservation who will… -
Re: Grading Georgia football’s recruiting efforts for the 2023 recruiting cycle
@GtheGreek UGA has had its share of players hit the transfer portal too. Also, don't deceive yourself. Haynes and Downs chose Alabama because the Tide has a much better track record of producing #1 picks at safety and RB than UGA does. UGA has produced 3 #1 picks at tailback this century: Knowshon Moreno, Todd Gurley and… -
Re: Georgia football, Kirby Smart being diligent with defensive back coaching hire
It's a blog, so please, this is just fun. Re: UGA's secondary, wondering about a potential big move with a prior WR (guess who knows a lot about how DBs work) or DB from the UGA Dawg House (not in any special order): Champ Bailey (42) - Kirby teammate, from Charlton County. All everything, College + NFL Halls of Fame.… -
Re: Censorship on the forum
Found these online. Alternatives to cursing. The problem is that if you use them, people assume that you are a Georgia Tech fan. Shnookerdookies! Fudge nuggets! Cheese and rice! Sugar! God bless America! Poo! Snickerdoodle! Banana shenanigans! Six and two is eight! God bless it! Barbara Streisand! Fiddlesticks! Jiminy… -
Re: ESPN's Finebaum: 'Kirby Smart is trying to run Alabama 2.0 and it’s not working'
First off, I trust Smart and would give him a 10 year extension today even given the disappointment. The problem is adaptability and adjustments. I really haven't seen the Dawgs come back a "different team" in the 2nd half of a game (at least not in a positive way). That's unusual for highly successful coaches. You might… -
Excited for the basketball team and will exceed expectations I think
Bigs Hammonds I think will be much improved from his freshman year. He's an NBA type talent. Becuase the team is so deep in the frontcourt, he will look to expand his backcourt/wing role as well. Nic Claxton is another giant alongside the super athletic Hammonds and like Hammonds played in all 33 games last year as a… -
Re: Georgia football winners and losers from 2021 recruiting class
Nice class but Brock Vandagriff to me is the most important piece of the puzzle in my opinion because a 5 star qb with elite escaping ability gives sec defenses fits but for so reason we haven't had a defensive player to emerged into that dominate player(since Roquan Smith) and losing Jermaine Johnson doesn't help . Did he…
