Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

Re: Leach on burgers...
I typically don't dress up my burgers very much, but a nice runny fried egg is fantastic on a burger. By the way, the #4 combo at Whataburger (jalapeno and cheese) is my automatic. I can't remember the last time I had anything but the #4 combo at Whataburger. I know there are a whole bunch of other delightful items on the… -
Re: National media spells out what Georgia football must do to become elite national title contender
Player development and coaching is the key to any successful football program above and beyond 4 and 5 star recruits. We've had Top 5 recruiting classes for 4 years now under Kirby yet have only made the playoffs once. It's tough to make a 4-team playoff, but we've got the talent, the coaching, and with a little luck we'll… -

Re: Red-hot Georgia revving up with fall temperatures cooling down
Hot: Alabama. Can continue to try and ignore Alabama but Alabama still has Saban and a higher 4* and 5* ratio than any other team. Add in the most difficult to defend and very effective QB in the country. Alabama is a nightmare matchup for any team. Epic SECCG showdown coming between, probably, the 2 best teams in the… -
Re: Kirby Smart shares progress of Georgia quarterbacks Carson Beck, Brock Vandagriff entering G-Day
Amazing that Bennett only threw 4 passes in the 2021 G-Day scrimmage, but was named the MVP in both playoff games and finished with the #4 best QBR rating in the nation…..slightly behind the Heisman Trophy winner. It will be interesting to see how he performs next season after taking snaps with the 1st team offense for a… -
Re: Daijun Edwards, Georgia’s rugged and reliable running back, comes out of his shell at NFL Combine
No highlight runs? Almost every time he got the ball, you'd think he was going down, and somehow he'd up 3-4 yards down the field. Definitely not the biggest back, but like Kirby said, don't know what made him so different, but he was definitely super hard to tackle. Loved watching him play. Will definitely keep an eye on… -
Re: 12-team College Football Playoff moving forward but not finalized
I don't like it. Giving the top 4 teams byes is just way too big an advantage. They told us for years that 4 teams were enough. That it SHOULD be difficult to make the playoffs. That's why 8 is the best number. It should be tough to make the field. No one outside of the top 8 has any chance to win it anyway. -

Re: 3-star OT Austin Blaske has made an emotional college decision
One website shows Blaske as a 4*. Regardless, star ratings don’t seem to matter as much for linemen. A 4* or 5* is usually a sure bet, but many 3* turn out really well. It comes down to player evaluation to find diamonds in the rough, especially in finding the late bloomers or the kids who were unable to attend camps.
