Amen, to that. For variable reasons throughout Smart's tenure....the Dawgs rarely put their best football, on the field with Bama.
I for one, am getting sick of it. And, you know Dawggone well....the players are getting sick of it. Lol
Imo....normally, Kirby would play a game like this, relatively close. Conservative, in other words.
BUT....I don't think the leadership, on this team, will allow it. I believe, they [and the Coaches] want to go ahead and punch Bama's button, right now....rather than play it close and face a better prepared Bama in the CFP, later.
They will out-perform all previous games....due to their discipline, football security, depth, QB, RB's, Branch & Humphries, Delp & Lucky....eight, great linemen, taking turns pulling Santa Stockton and his Elves, Frazier & Bowens through the mud 'n blood, to the Promised Land...."Champion City". Down the road from their Hometown, "Winnersville".
I respecrfully, have one message to the Team. No matter what....win, lose or draw....PLAY LIKE CHAMPIONS!. And, make everbody, including yourselves proud. Good luck…and God Bless.

He's right. Outside of QB, the Center is the most important. But, it's still the job of the coaches to have the next man up and ready to go. He wasn't against Tech. I hope he's better against Bama, because he's about to face the number one NT in the nation.
Re: David Pollack gives blunt thoughts on current Georgia offense: âIt wonât be prettyâ
I love Pollack and how he played the game. I feel what we saw Friday was a combination of losing a key player MID Game and also the game plan being, get outta town with a win and shorten the game.
now that cks and crew have had a week of practice and not a mid game decision, it should be just fine. I’m not saying it’s going to be as dominant as the Texas game but will definitely be better than the Tech game
Re: Gunner Stockton is gunning for glory against Alabama in SEC championship game
er, uh…. Gunner Stockton will need energized assistance from 21 other teammates on the field. He can't do it alone…

PennState get your jet fueled up bc We about to do yall a solid and take Bama to the water. The defense has improved so much. Time to start painting that masterpiece. We got a great coaching staff don’t listen to rival fans acting like Georgia fans. The screen game is gonna be there. Get em running all over the field then drag them to the water.
Re: Georgia football-Alabama: Game Time, TV Channel, how to watch online, odds for Week 15 game
" As the college football world knows, Alabama has owned Georgia, going 10-1 against the Bulldogs since 2008, including 7-1 with Kirby Smart, the former Crimson Tide defensive coordinator, as Georgia’s head coach. But that one exception came the lone time it was a rematch in the same season.
The second time comes Saturday, when Georgia, which lost 24-21 to Alabama on Sept. 27, gets another shot in the SEC championship. And if Georgia is looking for another reason for optimism, Smart is 3-0 as a head coach when he’s had a rematch game.
The counterpoint: So is Alabama coach Kalen DeBoer. "

So I guess maybe there's reason for hope this time…
Re: Georgia football-Alabama: Game Time, TV Channel, how to watch online, odds for Week 15 game
If Bama loses, they don’t get in with 3 losses. Couple of years ago, They left a Georgia team out that was back to back national champions and had the longest winning streak in football. Put a Washington team in that Georgia would have beat like a bass drum and a Texas team that was not as good as last years Texas team or this years. Auburn shouldn’t have let Puff Daddy be the ball boy last week. Neither offensive team Bama or Georgia looked like well oiled offensive machines last week.
Re: David Pollack gives blunt thoughts on current Georgia offense: âIt wonât be prettyâ
I think Pollock has a point. GT's defense was getting demolished and then Georgia's offense struggled against them, especially after Bobo went out. This game will likely be decided by turnovers just like the first one was. The loss of Bobo will hurt the offense. The Dawgs defense is going to need to have its best game. The offense is going to have to get really creative and limit the negative plays and take advantage of every opportunity. No dropped passes and no lost fumbles.
