Re: David Pollack casts doubt on 2025 Georgia football team as Top 5 team
@Kasey "not sure what NIL has to do with that. "
Most pundits say that NIL has affected the better teams like BAMA ,UGA and Ohio St from being able to stack your Fr. and Sophmores like you used to or not as much. THey will often transfer out if they are going to just be used for depth. NIL has, if not leveled the playing field, certainly it has brought the 2nd tier teams teams closer to being on par with top teams that used to just recruit better. In what world does Ole MIss beat our pants off, if not for NIL?
If you don't feel NIL has changed any of that, good on you. Your welcome to your opinion, I'm mostly quoting from some who write for DAWGNAtion.
Re: David Pollack casts doubt on 2025 Georgia football team as Top 5 team
I think we have to admit that NIL has changed some things. We no loger enter the season as the team to beat or next to it. We have to replace a lot of production on both sides of the ball. To excel above everyone else this season would be Kirby's best season yet. Hard enough to tun the table with a team of experienced ballers, muchless alot of inexperience or lack of experience.
Re: David Pollack casts doubt on 2025 Georgia football team as Top 5 team
Is David stuck in 7th grade? ”I’m like brah, like cool, like Dawgs got no juice.”
LOL
Re: David Pollack casts doubt on 2025 Georgia football team as Top 5 team
Pollack was a great player but he still talks and acts like an adolescent.
He continues to try and look unbiased then shows up at the complex acting like he
is all supportive and owns the place. Then goes out and trashes the program left and right.
Tired of his act…."brah"

Re: UGA might go to âextremeâ lengths to win 5-star recruiting battle
Brandon—You can talk about, broadcast, and treat NIL as the "normal" way of doing business in college football, but guess what—it still sucks. It hasn't been the norm in college football for 125 years. When you have a starting R tackle pulling in 2 million and the starting R guard right next to him is only pulling in $500,000, how do you assure the guard that he is "just as important" as that tackle, just to his right? Whenever there is money involved, there are always hurt feelings, jealousies, and uncertainties. I'm not against college players making a little cash, but the randomness of it could be very damaging to the game we all love.
Re: Trekking The Way in Spain (Camino de Santiago)
Good for you man. Just thinking about 27,000 steps makes my feet hurt.
About 2k per mile so 27,000 = 13.5 miles.
Good job.

Re: UGA might go to âextremeâ lengths to win 5-star recruiting battle
Yep...he even looks like a good ole Georgia Boy. He's comin' home, soon. Lol...Everybody just thinks, they've seen UGA at their best. But, imo...the best is yet to come.
And, Kirby embracing the NIL open market and using it to his advantage...is only adding rocket fuel to the Juggernaut, known as...the Georgia Bulldogs.
Many are invited to visit...but, only a few are asked to stay. The ones that decide to stay, are destined for success...IF.…they do what they are told...the way they are told to do it. In other words...if they are "coachable", love football and have heart. That's "The Georgia Way", more or less.
I think it's safe to say....Curtis and Cantwell are well versed in The Georgia Way.…and will come in ready for an opportunity to compete for playing time. Just like all the other Dawgs.
This time, next year.…they'll be wearing their first Dawg Fight scars from Spring Practice. But, they're gonna have to do more than that, to score playing time, over the guys in front of em on the Depth Chart. Afterall.…Stockton could be sporting a Championship Ring, going into year 2 as starter. Ya never know.
Re: David Pollack casts doubt on 2025 Georgia football team as Top 5 team
“Yeah, absolutely, I’m not putting Georgia in the top five,” Pollack said on his show"
I think that's exactly where CKS and company would like to start. Let this team feel disrespected and under-appreciated when they take the field. If this team can stay healthy through fall camp, they will have several "dudes" that will emerge and take the SEC by storm!
GO DAWGS!

Re: David Pollack casts doubt on 2025 Georgia football team as Top 5 team
@Kasey "Yes it’s hard to stack talent but to me that’s more a product of transfers not having to sit out a year more than NIL. But NIL is easier to trash I suppose."
No one "trashed NIL" , just pointing out the obvious. People transfer for a couple of reasons, sometimes it's just about getting an opportunity to start, which by-in- large is the #1 reason perhaps , but money is a big factoe(again just pointing out the obvious, not begrudging anyone getting paid). I think Carson Beck may be a case in point. I'm sure there are ohers but simply not worthmy time to look see. Have a great day!
