Re: BREAKING: Georgia football commit Jarmaine Mitchell flips to Arizona State
These big lineman kids see it is tough to be a DAWG and their game rotation program. Plus "Bloody Tuesday". You work and work hard to play as a DAWG. The SEC itself is for big boys…not necessarily boys who are just big. So, UGA is gonna lose some to the "flip."
Re: BREAKING: Georgia football commit Jarmaine Mitchell flips to Arizona State
Our only loss this week could be Curtis because the other two were bottom feeders and we may have encouraged them to leave to open up scholarships for better players. Curtis is definitely a loss, but if he in fact flips to Vandy then I have huge concerns about his character. He dragged us through the mud for 2 years and then literally bailed so late we could no longer pursue another QB. It certainly says a lot about his character. Go Dawgs!!!
Re: Jared Curtis disputes that heâs flipped from Georgia football to Vanderbilt
If he comes to UGA Great if he doesn’t come to UGA Great !! This is what NIL has done to CFB !! YES the players deserve some sort of extra stipend to go along with Free education, Free room and board, pretty much Free medical because they get treatment for Any problems during practice seasons and regular season which means pretty much all year.
By stipend I mean a Decent and Reasonable one. Not this Hollywood NIL thing.
We can all thank the weak NCAA leadership for this monster that THEY could have fixed years ago !!
PLUS years ago there should have been a ceiling placed on Coaching salaries. Then you’d see far less Kiffin drama. But now that it’s in a large way Ruined let’s enjoy the 2nd Tier pro teams that it is.
Still love our Dawgs but it’s getting harder and harder to talk about Loyalty in the same breath. Pretty soon we’ll be having conversations like: So who did your team Buy this year ? So sad. 😥
P.S. Dwell on our military ( some having to work Another job to make ends meet) however the military did get the largest raise they’ve had in years this year, Long over due, but our Law Enforcement , our Fire Fighters, our EMTs while we consider kids fresh out of HS making hundred of thousands of $$ Some are making $Millions and haven’t had a collegiate snap.
Some folks will say Ah Shut Up old man you’re just jealous. Nah because I Know that $$ ain’t all there is to life and you won’t carry a dime of it with you when you leave this world. Right is STILL right and Wrong is STILL wrong.
I have nothing at all what so ever against Curtis he’s just doing what pretty much everyone would do trying to get the highest $$. It’s the Idgits that LET it get this way that I have a bone with !!

No 18 year old kid is worth this amount of drama.

He didn't confirm he hasn't flipped either..

Re: What Jared Curtis decision means for the future of the Georgia quarterback position
The Dawgs are a victim of their own success when it comes to recruiting and keeping "5-star" QBs. Most of the kids who are highly rated are going to want to play immediately, and KS recruits to keep highly rated backups in the program. I understand Curtis is confident in his abilities, but he's not coming to UGA and starting over Puglisi and Montgomery as a true freshman - not to mention GS will probably return. KS has shown that he values a QB who can process large amounts of information and put the offense in the "right play" more than physical ability alone. While he'll play highly talented freshmen at other positions and let them learn on the job, he wants the QB to learn in practice and handle the volume of information and decision-making when he steps on the field.

Re: BREAKING: Georgia football commit Jarmaine Mitchell flips to Arizona State
It's all good. You know that by now. Kirby has got this. Todays college football reality. Poachers everywhere and well, in the end if they do not have a love for UGA then best to find out before they ever get on campus and waste everyone's time but also hurt the team chemistry and potential on and off of the field. Rare Breed only. They do not take the money and the easy road.
Re: Jared Curtis disputes that heâs flipped from Georgia football to Vanderbilt
I have to disagree with you a little bit, on that one Navy. Lol
Personally.…from what I've seen....the guys that are on the team, right now....couldn't be more loyal to each other and Coach Smart. They genuinely seem to love each other and, the Coaches.
Imo....the ones that are there, won't leave unless asked or encouraged. And, when they do....they always speak well of their former coaches and teammates....and, vice-versa.
NIL.…isn't the only reason some of these kids don't catch on for the long haul...at UGA. And, everybody seems fine with that.
And....The DAWGS keep WINNING!!!
Go get em boyz....shut out the noise! 45 - 13
