Re: Isiah Canion already showing why Georgia made him a priority in the transfer portal
That is the UGA defensive "system". Gap control, assignment integrity and recognition THEN rush the passer. You better have a dominant D to run that concept. Gotta be able to shut down the run to put opponent's offense in predictable passing situations THEN UGA plays its pressure game.
It will be interesting to see how/if CKS adjusts/fabricates defensive pressure to compensate for the (well) below average pass rush exhibited in '25.

Re: CBS Sports analyst explains why Georgia will exceed expectations in 2026
Texas has a more challenging regular season schedule compared to the Dawgs. Talty picking their losses to Ohio State and at LSU. I would probably concur, although that Ohio State game is in Austin. So I might be a toss up on that one. Early season game, so how good will Manning look? Sayin has proven his worth on the other side.
I don't think the Dawgs lose to Ole Miss again, but it will depend on how both QBs are playing by that point.

It makes me so sick to see universities from Texas (a state who thinks it created high school football) taking almost half of the top 20 Georgia players out of Georgia. Still waiting on Dallas Baptist to start a football program and hire Lane Kiffen and he can talk about how he is finally at place where he can win and take sweaty Pilates classes and how they have state of the art spray tanning booths and the best toga parties and the best cover bands.
Re: Georgia freshman OL Zykie Helton turning heads during spring practice
That dude was a total beast in the state champ game. Amazing to see an OL prospect just tearing it up on defense. Good info and look forward to reading more updates. Thanks!

I agree MontanaDawg and I believe Texas will actually beat Ohio State this year. Last season the game was at Ohio State and statistically the Longhorns kicked the Buckeyes, but Manning was a shaky at critical moments in the game. I think a more confident Manning and playing in Austin will give Texas an edge. BUT, to heck with those pretenders? Go Dawgs #1
