National Pie Day

What better way to celebrate a Dawg victory in today's SECG than to enjoy a nice piece of your favorite pie. What would be your preferred pie to celebrate? I've always been a pumpkin pie type of fellow, but having lived in FL now for about 5 years, I've grown partial to key lime. Especially with a dollop of whipped cream on top. Might seem strange to celebrate with a FL type of dessert, but on a red plate it's pretty good. Any recipes are, of course, very welcome.

If a chocolate pie is done right, it's hard to beat, but I will gladly join you guys for a piece of apple, pumpkin, or key lime.

Key lime should have it's own day dedicated just to it's wonderous pleasures...don't get me started.

One of these was brought to Thanksgiving. One of the best pies I've tasted......and I didn't even know it was a box pie until I asked for the recipe.......
