Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:

- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

McGarity to the board, acknowledging the under-performance overall of the sports programs.
“I feel confident that you will see marketed improvement in numerous sports in the near, if not immediate, future,” McGarity said.
He didn't mention specific sports as struggling, though did highlight the track teams doing well.
“The responsibility to enhance our strengths and address our deficiences lands on my desk,” McGarity said. "II know our program is not reaching our full potential.”
After several other presentations, McGarity finished with a message.
"Let us not be distracted by those who seek to divide us," he said.
@sethemerson so let's see if I'm getting this correct. Is Georgia athletic department predicting a bubble in college sports?? That they want to have money when the world of college athletics bubble pops. I'm sure the people at Terry have been helping Georgia on the financial in here. Which is a very interesting idea.
Clarifier: Not an economist.
But I wouldn't predict a bubble in college athletics unless there is an overall dip in the American economy. Not sure the Harbaughs and Sabans of the world are going back to $2 million or even $4 million per year.
Not with these big stadiums and TV deals. Have you seen what Clemson just built?
Yeah I saw what they built. What I was commenting on was the fact we are in the plus all the time. Where many schools don't even reach it that are power 5 schools and they build things. I don't think building new stuff all the time is what is needed. But when it's needed let's do it.
