I've had a couple of people say they believe @kelly_b 's comment was directed at me. Sorry to say I missed it, but it sounds like it might have been a real doozy. Did he really say he wanted to stretch my intestines around a Christmas tree? LOL. Sounds painful.
For the record, none of my comments have been deleted. They all remain for everyone to see.

@Bankwalker , I think I messaged you a while back and told you that it wasn't directed at you personally, but I'm pretty sure it read like that, so I apologize. It was a loose cannon response that shouldn't have happened in the first place. The comment that prompted it, that was the proverbial last straw for me, was so juvenile, so utterly and willfully stoopid (I've actually forgotten who posted it) that I should have just ignored it. I didn't. And oddly enough I thought about it when I watched Pickens against Tech. Shouldn't have happened, understandable as it was that it did. I figured I'd get banned for the vitriol. The fact is, I was disappointed in myself for even letting it get to me that day. I usually let things like that slide off my back, considering the annular sources from which those low-grade, risible little missives squirt out of: the trogs who'll always be a victim because life somehow always cheats them.
I've lurked here on occasion to see what most of you are thinking about the Dawgs as the season has progressed, but didn't engage. The general climate of the Internet kind of discourages that for me personally. And of course, I still listen to BA, Jeff, et al regularly. As most of you know, being a part of this forum, and commenting on DND, was a way for me to stay in touch with my Dawg fam whilst being so far away. I've been back in the States this entire season but will be returning overseas in Feb. I've mostly enjoyed being back, being able to be with my mother in her time of need, and loved being able to watch my Dawgs at a reasonable hour. I've also missed the great majority of interaction I had here, minus the obvious drooling, driveling infants who think their playground grunts are somehow clever and are usually expressed by the hopelessly, endlessly aggrieved who believe the world owes them something by the unfortunate accident of their birth. Saban whining about the unfairness of the last play this weekend comes to mind, as do other powerful people forever whimpering, groaning, and 'chirping' that somehow everything that happens to them is unfair, despite the fact that the majority of the consequences they face are of their own doing. Me, I refuse to be a part of that.
All this said, it was a long time ago, and I wondered if I should even bother posting about it. However, I was considering a few posts on football-related topics and felt that, if I was going to do that, I should post this first.
Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. Now, to move on to important things.
