I'd be shocked if that happens.

He just walked that kid down! @donm, I agree, that kid is gonna run track for USA soon. I don't think the reciever thing would happen, too much chance for injury. @JamesTwit it would be neat to see him just blow by some corners though.

Good grief, kids got some amazing speed. Yeah just send him on repeated fly patterns down the field. He looks like a ball player, kind of

He’s already becoming a famous track star. SOme of those elite pro track guys make more than pro football players.

How does that work? Prize money based on order of finish?

  • donmdonm Posts: 9,053 ✭✭✭✭✭ Graduate

Appearance money for the very best too.

Fun to think of him against UF or Auburn particularly but CKS is not going to waste a scholarship for some fun as long as Mullen quits the BS

Forget football with this kid, I want to see him in The Olympics and winning gold. Too bad for him decathlon isn't the path to superstardom and wealth anymore, he might break all the records if he trained just for the events in decathlon.

Also a number to keep in mind....9.82. That is the NCAA record time set by Tennessee track star and Atlanta native Christian Coleman in 2017. Boling set the high school record with a 10.13 last month. Forget the 9.97, that was wind aided and barely a footnote.

Whoa.....I've never seen anything like that. Has ever played football at all? Just imagine him being a kick returner.

  • SquillDawgSquillDawg Posts: 385 ✭✭✭✭✭ Graduate

It was 9.98 and I wouldn't say the fastest all conditions 100 in history is barely a footnote.

Even without playing football, he's still as asset to UGA because he raises the profile of the school. I heard UGA mentioned on 3 different programs on ESPN this week when talking about Boling.

Yes sir, he will be a huge asset to UGA. He will be training for the Olympics, should be a great story for the nation to follow.
