Evidently we are losing various species at a fairly fast rate. Not sure what can be done to reverse this trend, but it does sound alamring to me. Perhaps read up on it or go to social media and comment upon it?
SInce it's also National Ride Your BIcycle To Word Day, perhaps you can celebrate both by biking to work. Here in FL, I think you'd become the endangeded species while riding your bike. Folks are a might impatient behind the wheeh hereabouts. I think some even enjoy seeing how close to a cycler they can get with their cars.
Maybe it'd be better to enjoy National Cherry Cobler Day instead.
