Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:

- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)

- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans

- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum

- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

National Leave The Office Early Day

donmdonm Posts: 10,241 ✭✭✭✭✭ Graduate

What a great idea. Kind of surprised it doesn't come up more often ! It would certainly take an ogre of a boss to not let Dawg Fans leave work early today. Hope you can give it a try. For those of us retired Dawgs, I guess we can just imagine going to work and leaving early.

It's also National Repeat Day. Repeating a foot massage or a day with a dear friend would make this holiday special.

Another way to celebrate is by repeating some of the simple tasks of the day. Wash the dishes twice. Make the same meal for lunch as you do for supper. Watch the same movie twice. The 1993 film Groundhog Day comes to mind. Send duplicate text messages. Would be great if we could repeat a trouncing of the hated Gators today...maybe watch it twice if you have it on tape - I guess once could be considered a repeat if we watched the original.

Have a great day! Have a great day!

I left the office 5 years 8 months ago today. Is that early enough?

Get to work early, always stay late, and take a 7 hour lunch
