Never tried jalapeno in ice cream but if it's as good as jalapeno jelly it's worth a try.

An old mentor from my grad school days used to make jelly out of prickly pear cactus. It was delicious. Would go great in ice cream I think.

Plenty of these types of shops in nyc. But I prefer more normal ice cream friendly flavors. Not adventurous with my desserts

You have to try jalopena jelly with cream cheese on a Ritz cracker. That will make you willing to try the jalopena raspberry ice cream, or in anything really. The stuff is that good.
