Touch Choices Today - National Simplicity Day
Today presented me with several seemingly equally interesting choices for National Day.
I chose National Simplicity Day
With a doff of a ball cap to Thoreau, today celebrates the idea of living a simple life. We can't all find a pond to go live by, but we can certainly simplify our lives. The key, according to many, is to have fewer "wants" or "needs". Interesting to think about. What could we honestly do without?
It's also National Pecan Pie Day.
It's also National Eat Your Jell-O Day. Jell-0 has an interesting history. What's your favorite way to eat Jell-O? I grew up eating a lot of it with fruit cocktail mixed in. My favorite flavor was cherry.
It's also National Different Colored Eyes Day, to celebrate the surprising, at least to me, # of persons who have eyes of different colors. I can't recall knowing anyone with different colored eyes. I wonder if any current or past Dawgs have different colored eyes?
