Just In Time - International Beer Day

donmdonm ✭✭✭✭✭ Graduate

The first Friday in August brings a toast to ales, lagers, and pilsners that put the international in Internationa Beer Day. Not that any of us needs an excuse, but what a wide variety we have to choose from. What's your go to international beer?

It's also National Ice Cream Sandwich Day. First sold in the bowery of NYC, it cost a penny back then. The sandwich with the chocolate wafers was first peddled in 1945 at Forbes Field in Pittsburgh. Today there is an incredible variety of cookies and ice cream flavors. The chocolate IC sandwich as a huge favorite growing up in CA in the 40's and 50's. Still love them. Even the low cal ones are not all that bad.

Enjoy.
