He got tired of the trolling and is taking a 90 day sabbatical (based on a promotion they were running for membership) to TOS. Hopefully, he ends up back here.
I think not only the trolling, but people treating him as if they were obligated to his information. I miss reading his scoops, but don’t blame his departure at all.
Yep, at a certain point, your track record should speak for itself and you shouldn’t have to constantly defend your takes.
If you’re doing this professionally, that’s part of the job but someone offering up their time and efforts free of charge should be treated with better courtesy.

What up Skid, missed you bro. Just came on to tell my side and set things straight as I continue to be messaged about what’s being said here and the false info being put out.
FTR-I did not leave the site, just haven’t been posting here, and simply taking a break. Yep, I’m still a Dawg! My break is the result of 2 mods and the feedback I received from them by bringing up an issue up that personally triggered me. I did ask for a ban of SECFAN, he was the catalyst of the misunderstanding. I was surprised at the response I received from those 2 mods; first a refusal to take it off line to explain my why. Secondly, when I’m told by a mod that if I think a board is going downhill to find another site because this board is growing...I went to see what else is out there. Nothing more than that. Overall, I think a few mods represent what should be represented here, those others, well it is what it is.
FTR-I did not ask for WC or Mightydawg to be banned. WC is WC and I didn’t even know Mightydawg until a week ago. The info I post makes me a target, it makes others dislike me or want the info to be proven wrong. That’s their bag, and they’re entitled to it. That part of this is also fun, being able to say “I told you so.” And I get to say that more often than not. Trolls are trolls, whether their Bama fans, Dawg fans or whoever. Their presence isn’t a factor at all and I’ll continue to brush them off.
Im aware of what’s been said by the same mods. I’m not on payroll at 247 or Dawginsiders. I’m going to continue to post whether it’s here or elsewhere.
Ive spoken to Jeff. He’s the best in the biz and being exposed to other sites has confirmed that for me. Those who need to know what’s going on, do know. I look forward to coming back.
Hopefully that clears it up. This post will probably be deleted and I’ll be muted without notification as apparently that’s a thing here now, controlling the narrative although I was accused of trying to control freedom of speech from a fu fan.

I never saw the posts in question, but their advice for you to leave for a while couldn't be more wrong because it only considers one point of view (theirs). You and a couple others are the only reason I'm here. That being said, Sentell is the best as you state.
You're definitely missed around here, the frequency of quality discussion seems to have suffered. If you want to drop any "hot takes" in the interim, you'd definitely perk this place up a bit.
@SoFL_Dawg was and still is a major reason why many people even use this forum. To think that mods were pushing this man away is ridiculous. I hope you know how much your information is appreciated brother! Don’t let the fools mess up what you have going on

After reading all of this and thinking about things, I am glad I decided to turn down an offer to be a moderator. It's far worse than being a home plate umpire! I haven't and won't complain about mods as I see it is a job as tough as I imagined when I received the offer. Hats off to them for trying to do a good job and I 100% SoFl's return as soon as he deems it appropriate.
SoFL is a valuable member of the board.

I don't see anything wrong with what you said. This place has been going downhill and certain mods are pretty terrible. Obvious trolls are allowed to troll while good posters seem to be attacked. It's the most backwards moderating that I've ever seen, and I've been on Dawg message boards since 05.

One time Amanda Byrnes told me I had an **** face. Just came up to me and said it plain as day while I was talking to someone else. I asked if she just said I had an **** face and then he said pretend like she said you have a nice face. Five minutes later we cross paths again and she tells me I have the ugliest face, such an **** face. And I said that’s why I grow the beard, so I don’t have to look at it.
But im finishing up mod school. Got a couple semesters left. Paying my own way so I’m taking a little longer than normal. Rough summer term, but I think these last couple weeks things are better
Unfortunately, these things happen on anonymous chat boards. Probably because people have developed online personalities that lack the social graces they developed face to face when they were growing up in their families. FWIW, I always try to read SOFLs posts here. I do usually agree with his opinions, but he also provides some of the best information for Dawg fans, so very valuable member imo. The one thing 98% of us agree on is that we are willing to waste a good bit of time chatting about Georgia football. I would think we could agree to disagree sometimes and practice some old fashioned Southern manners here.
