Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

Saw that Chip has resumed writing articles on UGA for the AJC but hasn’t returned to DawgNation. Any body know anything about this? Did he just leave DawgNation? And under what circumstances ?
Comments
I don't have any inside information, but this is how I view it... AJC owns DawgNation. More of a reassignment reporting for the AJC, than leaving DawgNation.
I thought @DawgNationDaily owned Dawg Nation
He's the CFHO of DawnNation. Chief Florida Hater Officer
He said somewhere ....... that he preferred to more old school articles that they have over on AJC rather than the two second drive by in the digital platforms like DN, TOS ....etc
i just read one of his pieces on ajc.com this morning so he’s just over there with more meat on the bone
I heard Seth Emerson on the most recent WSLS podcast (check it out if you haven’t- it’s good), and he mentioned he appreciates how the Athletic lets him write fewer, but more in depth, articles.
It’s a matter of preference, I suppose. There’s good stuff here on DN and on the Athletic. Both sites have good writers. Chip had a look into the history of the program that our other DN writers don’t seem to have (Sentell may, but that’s not his focus).
Yea Seth gets to do something like the Valdosta State coaching tree article and went really in depth (for a preseason piece) about Mark Webb which makes me think he will be the star-ter (trademark pending) and how we should wait to pass judgement on underclassmen
Just read that Valdosta State article- it was really good.
Seth is ballin out over on the Ath .... great articles work the subscription
I like the combo of both writing/reporting styles. Sometimes you need reporters that just send out a few tidbits of what’s going on. Then you have more in depth pieces that get into the nuts and bolts of it. I think both are needed in this day of media
Brandon Adams started DawgNation and I believe the AJC has bought the rights to it..
