Natonal Kiss And Make Up Day
Today is a day to patch up any hard feelings that may exist around an argument that occurred between us and a loved one or between us and a friend. Bite the bullet and just say, "hey, I'm sorry". Often that will be more than enough to get the process started. I can recall that my dad, year's ago (in the early 50's) had some sort of falling out with a good friend - they used to hunt/fish together, lift weights together, worked together...that was it -they never spoke again. I never knew/can't recall what it was about but it seems they missed out on a good thing by being inflexible. That's an extreme example, but letting things fester seldom leads to any
National Banana Split Day
Created in 1904 by David Stickler at Tassel's Pharmacy in Latrobe, PA (home of Arnold Palmer), a banana split originally cost 10 cents. Been a long time since I had one. that's for sure. Could be a great way to kiss and make up, too.
