Something needs to be done about the "quite" period ending after rivalry weekend. Teams that participate in championship weekend are at a huge disadvantage in recruiting since they only have one week to recruit before the next "quite" period starts since their staff is immersed in preparation for a championship game that has playoff implications. The extra week to recruit for teams that don't qualify for conference championships creates a very unlevel playing field!

@ClintPaschal - Team Burch moved it up to Wednesday. He gets to be a part of the ESPN signing day announcement lineup.

We have discussed most of these recruits. Devin Willock decommitted Penn State and committed to UGA....big news as this guy is almost 6'7" and weighs in at 350 lbs. What an OT he'll be. I am still rooting for Arian Smith....the RB...hope Bama does not get him. He is a world-class speedster. Nearly as fast as his best buddy...UGA's former high school track phenom...Matthew Boling.. who ran the nation's fastest 100 meters as a high-schooler ...9.98!. We need Smith's speed. Couple of WRs looking hard at UGA as well. I do not believe we will get the major 5-star recruits. The top 4 teams will divvy those up. IMO only!

So we have no tight ends? We need at least two long, strong, good hands. Looks like we have become the destination for blockers, not pass catchers. If we insist on running a pro style offense why cannot TEs be part of our game.

If Jared Zirkel signs on Wednesday does that mean we can't blue shirt him?

Our uncertainty at QB makes me nervous about WR recruiting, but hopefully it'll come together.
