Hope the coaching staff can develop these players to their full potential
Great addition! Welcome Tre'
Ya got me wondering...would Kirby maintain status quo on coaches were they not performing ? Seriously. He knows his run often and pass when convenient will no longer win games..look at the new running/passing QB, WRs and TEs he's added. Look at the attempt in the SECCG...and the success in the Sugar. Maybe they are beginning to think outside "the box"? Hope so or it is going to be a very long season.
Welcome Tre'!! TE room is getting a little more crowded...for the better. Tre can help coach up D.Washington on the position and the younger UGA TEs can have more time to develop and also help both new TEs to acclimate to the UGA way. I think this gives us a great opportunity to run more sets that are going to challenge defenses. UGA has can run their double TE formations that are a threat to pass as well as run. These two new TEs can create some major match-up problems for opposing defenses. Now we need to finish strong for this recruiting cycle. Get those big men signed!!!
We just needed depth and experience at TE. We got both with Tre. I'm confident he will regret not committing to the G a few years ago. One year in Athens is better than four elsewhere.
Welcome Tre! Go Dawgs!
I just watched highlights of McKitty, he is a beast! I have no doubt he will be starting for UGA. Dude does not look like nor does he run like a guy that is 6'5' and 245. I am very impressed and even more excited to see him play. He runs with aggression, purpose and authority...more like a running back than a TE.
You can see his highlights on Dawgs247. Jeff, why didn't you post a link with his highlights?
Tre is a very good pick up but I have concerns about Fitzpatrick, Goede and Seither, are we not developing these guys or were they limited from the get go in potential.
I think that kid from Colquitt Co. Dajuan Edwards is a capable back and will be able to hold his own in the SEC. He dominated in what is arguably the best high school region in the Southeast.
What good purpose does it have to have a room full of tight ends if you don't use them in the passing game?
Trying to win the SEC with ACC players? Good luck with that
