Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

Fields to the rescue...
his petition is catching fire...wonder if it will change things for the big10...
i have to admit, I don’t understand bringing kids back to school to live in dorms and not have football.
Also, Not sure if true but heard the big10 commissioner’s son plays in the Sec. If so, not a good look
Comments
Barrett Sallee has letters from PSU and OSU parents posted to his Twitter page. They want some answers as well.
These kids have worked hard and it certainly seems like their respective coaching staffs have taken this very seriously.
Let those who want to play, play.
Agree. Also, confirmed the Big 10 commish’s son plays for miss state. Tough explaining that one.
FWIW...I hate the big 10 and clear now they have a PR nightmare coming.
If they really want to play they need to quit whining about it. Man up and hit the portal.
This is great and I hope it explodes. The petition should have included a demand for the commissioner to resign. The only thing I can see making him change his mind is fear of losing his job.
will be interesting to see how the media covers this story. I did see it is on ESPN.com which I was happy to see.
Before this gets too far down the road, we aren't hoping for a return of JF to Georgia are we? It will take a lot for me to believe that can or will happen.
Wouldnt make sense at this point...going to be hard enough as is for any of our qbs to be up and running in a brand new offense.
Curious if the big10 waited so long to cancel to decrease amount of players being able to transfer and play right away at other schools. Some positions I imagine are easier than others.
I don’t think it will happen, but why wouldn’t we want that?
Didn't say we wouldn't want it. Just that I'm not going to get my hopes up for nothing.
UGA should definitely take Fields as a transfer. And then make him hand the ball off every play in garbage time.
That's cold.
Nah only fake punts
Which play had better odds for a freshman QB: second-and-26 vs. a Kirby Smart defense, or a fourth-and-11 surprise formation with Mecole Hardman, D'Andre Swift, J.J. Holloman and Terry Godwin running to get open on a play you practice every single week for that exact situation and that specific punt defense?
I'll wait..
I thought this thread was about the petition
I think this will give us a great look at how the "voices" of these guys will or will not been listened to differently moving forward.
I am not saying I think they will change what they did. I am not saying they should change what they did.
But I will be curious to see if it is even addressed.
2nd and 26 has a 100% chance of success and 4th and 11 has 0% chance of success. Any other questions?
