Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

I feel like you always throw his name up because he never plays. Being funny at the expense of a DGD is not cool, imo. 😎
The premise of the thread did not demand full seriousness from me 😇
David Greene
NICK. CHUBB.
How about calling out my DV stalker publicly? There is a forum rule against stalking behavior. ZERO reason for anyone to DV the comment about Herschel, Hines, Hoage, and Scott other than being an intellectually dishonest troll.
It wasn’t you, was it?
Wear it like a badge. Don’t play the game.
Thank you for the edit. Just asking for consistency.
I try my best not to UV or DV because some members take it so personally when I do that and I don’t want to hurt their feelings. Whoever is your DV stalker, I can assure you they are being spoken with because we want to make sure we are being as consistent as we can following them rules as stipulated in the pinned thread about forum rules.
Todd Gurley. I still get chills every time I think of the "Coming Home" amp up video after his suspension. The swagger, the hurdling, coming back from suspension and scoring a touchdown on a kick return, the touchdown throw.... That guy was special, and he was a legend even during his playing days.
Runners up:
Hines Ward: I will never forget him playing QB with a broken thumb! He did everything that was asked of him and more... what a team player! I also love how he was on the Steelers, he'd get interviewed, and he'd be sporting the red and black and the G.... not his current team colors. DGD!
Aaron Murray: He put the team on his back and made things happen... He may not have been the most athletic QB we've had, but he was a BALLER. I never worried about the game management with him under center, because he would make it happen if it could happen. The only other person I've seen do that lately was Swift last year- particularly against UK. He carried us.
DJ Shockley: So much heart. I was so thrilled to see his success in his 2005 senior year- he deserved every bit of it. I just wish he'd gotten more of a shot with the Falcons.
Terry Hoage. Then I think about Hines Ward followed by Champ Bailey. Of course Herschel goes without saying.
Nick Chubb is my all-time favorite. A humble hero. David Pollack, Todd Gurley, Andrew Thomas, and Roquan Smith come to mind as DGD's in my book.
Nick Chubb exudes hard work, humility, and overcoming adversity, all in one man.
Offense - Herschel Walker
Defense - David Pollack
Special Team - Kevin Butler
All Purpose - Champ Bailey
Overall - Herschel
Nick Chubb would round out my favorite five!
Ben Jones by far, ripping fairleys cheap shot ass apart after all the dirty hits was and still is satisfying to watch
