He never earned the right to wear the G. He never was and will never be a dawg. So for the love of God, dawgnation, stop with the Jamie Newman articles.
“We had to put him in Wake Forest stuff,” Senior Bowl executive director Jim Nagy said. “If we put him in Georgia stuff …. the vitriol among DawgNation on Twitter has been unbelievable.”

I'm sure, even now, you STILL could come back for one more season if Covid was the "real" reason you quit 3 weeks before the season started.

No hard feeling towards the young man but he didn't deserve to wear anything with Ga on it. You need to earn that right.
So Newman left because Kirby wouldn’t name him the “starter” and his Covid concerns were total BS. He was more than happy to eat our food, take free classes and have personal trainers for 8 months, but he bails right as the season was starting. I guess Covid wasn’t an issue for him for 5 months, but it suddenly scared him when he realized he might not beat out D’Wan and our former “walk-on” Stetson. I certainly hope the NFL scouts notice how loyal he is and how well he handles competition. Go Dawgs!!!

There will be no combine in Indy this year. The league will try to simulate combine conditions on campus sites. I would have to think that he goes through the campus combine at WF and not UGA.

I hate the phrase "everything happens for a reason". Of course it does. The reason that guy broke his leg is because he jumped off the roof. The reason I'm not a millionaire is because I didn't have a sound business plan or product. The reason that guys died of cancer is because he smoked three packs of Camels a day. The reason newman didn't play is because he quit.
The reason we keep reading about people with no relevance to the University of Georgia is because "writers" keep bringing them up.

Jaime Newman quit the dawgs. He got a free ride for 8 months and UGA got nothing in return. COVID-19 still exist and this guy has no problem participating in the senior bowl. I call bs. He was afraid and intimidated of coming to work everyday and competing for a starting job. Wake or Weak Forest does not have the caliber of players or competition that UGA or SEC has. The NFL allows players to kneel for the flag. The NFL has become too political like most sports as well as most of the world. I don’t watch professional sports anymore and college sports are beginning to get more political. The UK basketball team for example. Jaime Newman is / was never a dawg. He played at Weak Forest.
I have no idea why Mike Griffith continues to write about an athlete who NEVER played a down for UGa, but took our money (stipends, meals, tuition, fees, room and board, etc). Newman also wasted one of our valuable scholarships that could have gone to a better player who wouldn’t have worked the system. This is Griffith’s 2nd article on Newman in 24 hours.......and zero articles regarding the 6 UGa grads playing in the Senior Bowl. What the heck is going on? Why are you writing about a Wake Forest football player and ignoring our guys? Good grief Griffith.....get your act together or go back to Knoxville where you can definitely find something **** to write about.
Dawg Fans, I am with all of you when it comes to NOT writing articles about Newman and the fact that he shouldn't don the G on his helmet at the Senior Bowl. However, can we please show a little class and stop calling these young men idiots and cowards because we don't agree with them! He made his decision and he now has to live with it period. Many of you probably won't agree with me and that's fine but I just think of Newman's parents and how they feel when you call their child those names. I know Dawg Fans have more class than this so let's please show it. Having a championship program not only happens on the field but in the community its representing as well...
