Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

Being hateful doesn't require being angry, some times being dismissive is more hateful than being angry.
Laughable.
Hateful? Dismissive of female athletes?
How about merely dismissive of the argument so often given that student-athletes should be able to earn endorsements because these schools are “making millions” off of the student-athletes. Clearly, this young lady at a tiny NAIA school has blown a hole in that argument.
Absolutely. I've seen it many times on sports boards. That's what's laughable. in 2021 some men are still afraid of women venturing too far from the kitchen. I'm not saying that is what is happening here, but when it turns to belittling women sports, it sure starts to read like it.
Dude you have totally taken what was said out of context. I don't see any where in that post where he picking on the woman in question or women sports in general.
I just curious, did he hurt your feelings somehow?
Yep and this will ruin college sports. You will see. probably not immediately but it will ruin it.
I agree. We have 5-10 more years of a decent sport to watch, after that, we will simply have the second professional football league no one else could create.
From wsj - "Supreme Court rejects NCAA's Tight Limits on Athlete Benefits, Compensation"
...The court, in a unanimous opinion by Justice Neil Gorsuch, upheld lower court rulings that said the NCAA unlawfully limited schools from competing for player talent by offering better benefits, to the detriment of college athletes.
Pass a stone.
