Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

1970Dawg: I think you should man-up with an apology to BillyDawg1! We all make mistakes, but Dawgs own up to them.
"Truthfully I look at it as a momentary light affliction compared to the future glory in heaven," Richt said.
you are a great example of what is wrong with internet culture today. jump straight to insults and coming from a place of ignorance.
really no need to get worked up bro
My dad passed 2 years ago from Lewy Body Dementia and Parkinson's. It was terrible to watch the strongest man I ever knew be ripped away from his body and mind. When I read the words that Richt said in regards to this, I smiled. My dad said the exact same thing when he was diagnosed. If praying is your thing, please do so for Richt's family also as they are going to have to watch his regression.
Sorry to hear as CMR will always be a DGD, we all know his strong devotion to God and his faith will sustain him and his family.
@1970Dawg slow your roll.....
You guys are right! My bad!
Was reading quickly and emotional, also focused on the Hawks and I guess my attention was divided.
Sorry to my fellow Dawgs!!!!
We all love Coach Richt and wish him and the Richt Family the best....
Prayers for coach Richt, finest mentor in my opinion to be around young men. God will continue to work through CMR.
2022 is 20 year anniversary of 2002 SEC championship he got for us that spring-boarded the last 20 years of us being "back." Get Pollack, Greene, Davis and some other guys on Dooley Field one game for a halftime acknowledgement and let Richt walk out of that locker room last. Sanford will absolutely explode for that man and there may not be a dry eye in the place. He can soak that love in, and he deserves it.
That is a hel of a great idea !
could you imagine if we were reigning national champs too? could probably hear the ovation from Atlanta...
Love this idea. Got excited thinking about it, then actually started to tear up. Man, that would be a great moment.
There are some promising new treatments in trials for Parkinson's. I do think this disease is one of the next to be neutralized. Praying for CMR and all afflicted.
I wonder if this is one that can be solved with CRISPR
May have to play Soulja Boy to lighten the mood back up after. It would be a healing moment for many in DawgNation.
Praying for Coach Richt and his family.
