Still kinda funny
Irony usually is.
Making a complaint about typos with a typo? Agreed
I never said people don't care about good journalism, I said people care more about good football and a happy/focused coach. Additionally, I put good in quotes because it's debatable how useful it is for 5 different folks to ask the same question just reworded all in hopes to get the coach to say something they can twist into a headline. "QB controversy at UGA".... "Coach says UGA can't win it all without JT".... That's not good journalism, that's gotcha/click bait BS. Now, Connor didn't ask the same question. But he did ask an obvious question trying to provoke a reaction from Kirby. Personally, I thought CKS actually handled it well and gave a great answer. Doubt Connor will use it or the great comment on Dan Jackson that coach gave though because... it wasn't what he was looking for.
Finally, I love our recruiting coverage. But that's probably because 99% of it is done by Jeff. I think both Mike and Connor could both learn a lot from Jeff about journalism and writing for the Dawgnation audience.
Wasn’t actually complaining, just stating facts. A lot more than typos with those guys. But as long as I made your weekend, I’m happy. Sure you’re as giddy as a schoolgirl. You and Billy are important to me.
You would have to pay me to click on either one and even then i would click but not read.
Whatever makes you feel better bud. I literally could not care any less. Just have fun teasing you complaining about free articles. Have a good night.
So do you really think the "fans want to know why Kirby gets agitated when asked about JT"? Connor was not asking about the health of one of the nation's top QBs. He was asking a question that served a purpose to incite Kirby. It was a classless move by Riley when he could have used the limited time for questions to ask a question that matters to the fanbase. I assume you think that the general public (even those with numerous degrees) would have a tough time understanding the difficult life of a sports journalist. Give me a break and get over yourself. You are pouting because Kirby will not give you complete access to everything you want. I do not blame him at all the way the media completely blows up everything to push a narrative for more clicks.
When it comes to the way Kirby does his job, I will quote you "So, please, stop ripping people for doing their jobs -- save your criticism for someone else."
Thanks for posting. I actually thought the question was reasonable, and it gave Kirby a chance to direct the media sharks towards something positive. And that's the team guys putting in the work and getting the results.
Whoa! They beat writers around here?
I saw a female reporter ask a coach the same exact question about 4 different times and I mean back to back to back to back and I'm like Geez! I think I would've had to Kiffin her. What an annoying ____!
Bad journalism is one thing... But did he really say that Jordan-Hare was his favorite SEC stadium on the show today? I had to listen to it twice to make sure I didn't miss something.
I did notice that Connor's confidential is no longer pinned to the top of the board. Now if we could just get Sentell's Intel permanently up there.
I quit listening to the shows on Tuesdays but it wouldn't surprise me.
That’s what he said.
Glad to see Conner's Confidential unpinned since its been inactive, but when I heard him say that , I assumed he meant his favorite stadium outside of Sanford. Lets give him the benefit of the doubt - I say crap I dont mean every so often as well
