All we have seen from Burton is spurts. Anyone limiting his ceiling at this point is biased against his leaving. The guy can flat out catch it.

Just a few short years ago, everyone was moaning about our TE room, pointing out the dearth of production and options at that position, and claiming any self-respecting TE would avoid Georgia like the plague. Yet here we are, with the best TE room in the country, hands down. If we portal another stud or two in, fine... but I like our roster and the odds for another outstanding year ahead. Go Dawgs!

A win for Bama, a loss for the Dawgs.

Yes, this is a big deal for Burton and Bama, but if our defense is like it was last season, Young will not have time to throw it to him. GO DAWGS!

Alabama is wearing it out in the portal. However, with all their recent top receiver recruits in the past cycles, one has to wonder what this says to them. But hey, Georgia may have a spot or 2 available for some of their guys.

He missed five games... the potential for those numbers to even out had he remained healthy is much greater than zero.

Are you a Bama troll? Sure Bama lost some good receivers, but we dealt with that the entire season….and arguably the best receiver on either team (Arik) never saw the field. Also, we lost 2 DBs for most of the season including a 2 time All American (Tykee).

It’s for the “betterment” of the game because it generates more money. Which is to say, it isn’t anything to do with bettering the game. That’s for us suckers to wring our hands about.

Hey, did I miss something? I thought that immediate in-conference was only going to be a 1-year thing because of how badly COVID jacked up everything in 2020. Is it just going to be a free-for-all forever in the portal now?
