And some days are pretty ok. Opening day at Fenway. First time in Boston. Worst ways to spend an afternoon

Lucky Dawg!!
Been there twice. Pretty great.
not bad for $38/seat. son had a great time, was the second to last day of his spring break. boston to portland to camden and back to Boston. the Boston Marathon is Monday and we met a lot of the runners too. so much to see/do up there we will certainly need to head back one day.
My wife ran the Boston Marathon in 1997. Unlike other marathons that start early, it started at noon. So I went to Fenway for an early 11am ballgame, then spilled out on the street to watch the end of the race!
The Boston Marathon, very nice! That’s no easy task, I must extend my sincere admiration to your Lady.
Also, I’ve never been to Boston but I’ve always wanted to see a game at Fenway Park
It’s a pretty great experience every baseball fan should do at least once. Not many of the old parks left. I still need to get to a game at Wrigley.
Do it…you’ll definitely appreciate the venue. If you’re staying closer to downtown, take the L to Wrigleyville early and grab something to eat around the ballpark. You won’t be disappointed.
Noooooooooooo! (I'm a former St. Louis resident where the Cubs are viewed with all the love a Dawgs fan has for Florida.) Now Fenway sounds great. Boston is a great, quirky sports town.
Absolutely, Wrigley Field is definitely on my bucket list.
I would also like to see the Bears at Soldier Field and the Pack at Lambeau before they are gone.
I’ve been lucky to catch some MLB games at different parks including old Candlestick, new Comiskey, Fenway, San Diego, Camden Yards and KC Royals (Bo Jackson was playing then). Grabbed a foul ball at Camden (only one ever), Rubios fish tacos in SanDiego, and a Carlton Fisk souvenir cup in Chicago. All great, fun memories.
