I can’t say beyond a shadow of a doubt that our beloved Dawgs will repeat and win back to back Nattys. But all homerism aside I honestly Do believe they will be right in the thick of competing for it again. And Could win it again. Yes we lost a full Ton of talent to the NFL and some others elected to transfer, but this Dawgs team is Still a very potent strong team. The schedule is favorable. We have a good bit of experience coming back on Offense. Due to injuries some guys got valuable time in on Defense. YES there are areas of concern. But players out getting post season surgeries made the Spring Game look worse regarding being thin at positions/units. It’s my understanding All of those guys will be back by Fall Camp. And several of the young guys showed allot of promise in the Spring Game. If the Dawgs get a solid W ( solid being the key word) and not a barely got by them W against Oregon I’m gonna be feeling pretty good about this years team !! I trust Kirby Smart and his coaching staff. And speaking of that Kirby himself is more experienced now, wiser about the game as a HC competing at the Elite level. I don’t know if it’s temporary or about to be a landslide but Dabo & Clempsum seem to be in a pretty steep dive !! Go Dawgs !!
You are soooo clever. You should be coaching. LOL. Are you the father of a 20 yr old or are you a 20 yr old father? Based on your comments, my money's on the latter. When you get a little older and wet behind the ears, you'll be able to pick up what I'm puttin' down. In the meantime, I refuse to argue with ignorance. Get's us nowhere. Think what ya wanta think, I can't help you.
They'll be in the thick of it again Navy...count on it. Yeah, the Dawgs lost a lot of talent on defense, but, they're getting everybody back on offense, and some. Everybody that counts, anyway.
Smart's defenses have performed in the upper tier of the Nation's defenses, since he's been at UGA. That's not going to change in 2022. They've got 4 guys from last year's defense coming back, that are projected 1st/2nd round draft picks. Nolan Smith, Chris Smith, Kelee Ringo and Jalen Carter. You can count on a few of the other guys to rise to the top, as well...such as Beal, last year's sack leader. Defense will be just fine. And, expect a marked improvement in the secondary, while everybody is forecasting doom and gloom. LOL
Offense is where 2022's team will make it's distinct mark. The offense is going to be practically unstoppable. Monkin and Smart are going to use RBs and TEs with 2 WRs to run a hybrid Air-Raid style offense, typically run with an X, Y, Z receiver and flanker.
With a veteran mobile QB running the offense, 4 of the most talented TEs in the Country, a healthy, talented RB/WR group and one of the best offensive line groups in the country...all of the pieces are in place for Monkin to "Unleash the Kraken". LOL. Nobody's gonna see it coming. While everybody is focused on 2021's Defense, UGA's been quietly putting together a 2022 Offense that will be one for the ages.
Yep, their gonna repeat, in a way nobody saw coming...high flying offense, with solid defense. Just like nobody saw 2021's defensive dominance coming.
