Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

Drove him and his lovely wife home a few years ago . He invited me in to see his rose bowl trophy . As I was admiring it I turned a saw a bust which was his NFL HOF bust . He was more proud of the rose bowl MVP than anything . He also told me after he signed with Georgia he had to go to a small school in NY and beef up . After that he said a lot of schools wanted him but he gave his word to Georgia and he was standing by it . He came back to Georgia and all he had was his Coca Cola uniforms when he got to Athens . We talked for quite some time . Not just a DGD but a great human being .
Wow !! That’s time spent with a Great Man and Great DGD that I’m sure you will cherish the rest of your life. I’d have loved to sit down with Mr. Trippi and just listened to him if only for a little while. He was/is a Great Man from a generation of Great Men !!
RIP DGD/DGMan. Thankfully he got to experience the '21 championship season before passing.
