How SWEET it IS!!! A great performance by the Offense and Defense!! Crowd was fantastic!
Now bring on those other Bulldogs...GO DAWGS!!!!!
Welp, all that hype is gone....better players better coaches better team.....
They said Georgia has not played an offense like Tennessee. How about Tennessee has not played a defense like Georgia.
We’d all like to thank Mr. Eric Ainge for the bulletin board material !! 😀
BREAKING NEWS! The Georgia Bulldogs self-identify as the #1 team in the land! Take that CFP Committee!! GO DAWGS!!
Go Dawgs! I would love to be a fly on the wall for all these "secret" coaches that said the dawgs didn't have an elite defense. What a joke - this defense looked better tonight than last years - and that is saying alot! Proud of the dawgs for an awesome effort and the crowd at Sanford Stadium that deafened the offense of Tenn! DGDs!!!
Just listening to Herbstreit and crew this entire week justifying the Vols being #1 (ridiculous arguments) and the worst was the arguments about the “explosive” offense of the Suckeyes. They had all they could handle and only scored 21 points against the Vandy of the big 10 today so please no more whining about how great these other teams are. Heck, the QB for Ohio State (purportedly the leader for the Heisman) had less than 70-yards passing today. I must not know the definition of explosive.
It was a thoroughly satisfying and very satisfactory game.
However, we need to remember that Tennessee didn't get to play their game. Their quarterback's most excellent passing abilities were interfered with by our players which probably was unfair to him. Plus, there was the rain and the noise of a highly partisan crowd. His Heisman hopes are fully alive. Tennessee is still an invincible team which just got unlucky and had a slightly subpar first half because of factors beyond their control.
Reminds me of the Hawaii Sugar Bowl. I suspected it would. It's great to be right, but winning trumps anything.
Go, Dawgs!
I was really impressed by our tackling.
Even the best college defenses typically have a few blown tackles each game. But I don't remember any of our guys truly missing a single one. And a lot of those tackles were straight up, solo, open-field slams. Once we got our paws on them, they were down!
I don't think even last year's defense ever had a better day in terms of pure tackling.
Last year, it was the Dawgs and the Tide and everyone else.
This weekend has made it clear, this year, it is the Dawgs and everyone else!
Sanford no issue per Eric Ainge. LOL,, GO DAWGS......
The true sign on this, when JDJ missed, fell down, then immediately rebounded and launched and secured the tackle.
