Auburn has found its replacement for Bryan Harsin. It is a name with ties to the SEC and a coach that has given Kirby Smart plenty of problems in the past.

Not worried about Auburn with Hugh at the helm at all.

The SEC West teams could and should if they choose to worry about it.

It is difficult to nearly impossible to make magic happen like he did at Ole Miss For a second time. And if you look back at it more closely, what did Ole Miss accomplish? Did they win the SEC? NOPE. BCS championship game? NOPE. Sustained top 5 recruiting classes? NOPE.

As a fan I am more concerned long term with what Beamer is building next door at SC and what UT is building just north of us. And when I say “concerned”, I mean just keeping an eye out for what they are doing, that’s all.

Auburn sealed their fate when they tried to back door Tuberville not that long ago and they are still paying for that even today IMO.

At least when Richt was finally shown the door he was given 14+ seasons to get our Dawgs over the hump. That’s respect right there no matter which side of the fence you were on during the 2015-2016 season.

I still say Auburn wanted Kiffin and Kiffin wanted Auburn. I also believe the deal was all but done until a few days ago. I can't wait for some enterprising reporter to find out what really happened.

Need to write an article about Cade McNamara possibly transferring to UGA in January!

He would be a great addition to the QB room as well as being offered by Coach Smart and highly recruited by him coming out of high school.

While the stories about Freeze and the escorts are certainly fun to talk about, the issue that should be disqualifying is the finding of lack of institutional control. I don’t understand how he gets another chance at an SEC school

Auburn is a great job. They are willing to pay millions upon millions for bad hires to go away. In three to four years, Freeze will get his!

Freeze is a good OC and play caller. As far as being a great recruiter? It's harder to recruit at Ole Miss than Auburn, but Freeze didn't really win much until he started buying players that would've been bound for Georgia and Alabama.

When Freeze was buying player's, he had an advantage that Georgia and maybe Alabama didn't have. Georgia and Alabama can match Auburn for NIL money. Now, we'll get to see how good of a recruiter Freeze really is.

Freeze has demonstrated the ability to look you in the eye and say anything, while making it sound believable...

Freeze is an interesting hire for Auburn. One car will drive him to Auburn, another will carry all his"baggage."

Auburn remains the Louisville of the SEC - no scoundrel is too **** for them to hire. I find it amusing when writers keep talking about what a great recruiter he was at Ole Miss. While blatantly paying kids to come to your school is fine now, it wasn’t during Freeze’s recruiting and that is how he was such an effective recruiter - paying families. What he has proven is that he can’t out-recruit UGA or other significant programs when the field is level and with the NIL, everyone can pay players so good luck Bobby Petrino/Petino Jr.

Freeze at Auburn is scary. He's a good coach with an interesting personality. I can't wait to see the drama unfold.
