Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

Maybe best thing I read today. That day game was perfect for some radio coverage
Braves win, Mets lose, Showalter gets ejected.
Good day.
Braves can basically put the division to bed with a sweep. Mets are done and I don't think the Phillies can catchup either. Couple things working against them though.
Should be interesting. Big crowds and a lot of energy all weekend.
Happy Frank Day to all who celebrate!
BTW, This is a head phones in kind of tweet.
That is a REALLY REALLY GREAT DAY!!! Plus, it happened the same REALLY, REALLY GREAT week that the Florida swamp lizards got themselves totally embarrassed in the MCWS 18-4 in Omaha!!!!
Florida = LOSERS!!!!
I would love to sit through a game with those lads. What a hoot.
@philipsmith99 I looked up the Braves TV schedule and there's actually a decent amount of Braves games on in July. About 8 games. Just two in August.
They're being aired on the following channels free with my Dish subscription: Fox, MLB, ESPN, Espn+ (with a subscription) and FS1.
Thanks
This series starting tonight is gigantic for the Marlins. It is our fourth series of the last six where we will play the "hottest team in baseball." Swept 2 won 2 of those series. Another sweep would be excellent. We'll see if Michael Soroka and the boys can set the tone, beginning tonight!
Tough to sweep the Fish...they have some serious arms and enough hitting to pose problems. But...so do the Bravos. It will be interesting.
I just checked on the start time for tonight's game. Already 3-0 Braves in the bottom of the first. This team starts fast like no other team in baseball. Olson another Home Run.
Oops. Now 5-0 Braves. Rosario a homerun.
Time to urine test those boys!!
Braves boat race the Marlins 16-4!
Sirocca pitches six strong innings….! Six home runs for the good guys!
Now seven up on the second place Marlins!
Braves 54-27….. a. .667 winning percentage! An homage to Bobby Cox’s admonition to win “two out of every three” games!!
Good times!
BIg challenge tonight though. The Fish are throwing their arguably best arm tonight - hope we can treat him rudely. June was a month, wasn't it?
Agreed!
They hit 59 home runs in the month of June….Nuff said!!
Correction: 61 homers this month….shades of Roger Maris!
