We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

I guess my question to you, is....What is your definition of "heralded"?

I would say any "3 star or below" athlete could be defined as "unheralded"....while 4 star and above..."heralded". 3 star athletes don't get much State or National press. I'm sure you can find a few exceptions...but, McConkey's not one of em, IMO.

The statement regarding Bowers is so much hyperbole. Yes...He was extremely important...but, the Dawgs had a plan "B", "C" & "D". In other words, if Bowers went down...the Dawgs had several other options available for production...not to mention a World-Class Defense. You can't boil UGA down to one or two...or, even 3 players. They are a "team" in the true sense of the word.

BTW...I gotta disagree with you a little bit on this statement...."Alabama lost TWO guys that were just as important to their scheme."

The 2 guys BAMA lost (Williams & Metchie)...weren't "important to their scheme". They WERE their scheme. Once those 2 guys went down...BAMA didn't have a plan "C". Lol...that, in addition to the OL's performance in the A-Day Game, is why I predicted that 2022 was going to be huge bust for Saban and Young.

No targets + poor blocking = Offensive Disaster = BAMA 2022 Season
