Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

I have ESPN+ and agree with Chopper. You can't select the Dawgs game until I tried the search option and typed in ga vs. Ut martin. Then it pulls up the Dawgs game.
If you choose featured or ESPN+ you get about 15 different college football games (and US Open tennis matches) but no Georgia game. Wierd, Right?
Also, it appears I have access to SECN+ which is also listed as one of the networks carrying the game. Its listed under the search option of my smart TV where I can select my saved search for the Watch ESPN app. which gives you access to SECN and SECN+.
How about underblown?
If you have not logged in to app recently, may want to give yourself plenty of time. Beware 1st thing will be to get you to subscribe, will have to navigate around some to find sec network then login. If you are a fan of halftime shows looks like this is your site. Good luck logging in.
Go Dawgs!
It is overly complex to get your Hulu package linked to ESPN+… I discovered yesterday… and sometimes it fails and you have to start over from scratch. I managed to get it working before game time. I enjoyed Murray as color commentator. 😎
I had issue with sec+, I have fubo. At 6:15 it was still telling me event had not started. I believe it wanted me to give up and buy the app. I backed out and restarted, finally got in, missed most of 1st quarter.
Good news is you didn't miss too much in that first quarter.
They absolutely want you to just get the subscription. Thankfully that will be our only game on that platform and we can worry about it next year.
Log into Hulu and go into hubs and just hit espn+
Well… that might have been easy! I did not find instructions for that method on their website or in the app. 🤣
Fact
I have Dish and a subscription to ESPN+. Numerous times the game would freeze. Buffering. Loading more content. Displays download speeds. What a joke. Dealt with this crap before. When viewing early golf coverage. It's worse for football games. The help desk at Dish said their system isn't compatible with streaming live broadcasts.
Thankfully, this is the only game that you had to stream to watch.
I did the same thing. Cancelled the subscription on Sunday. Watched the game on my iPad. Not ideal but it worked perfectly. I assume we won't be on ESPN+ for the rest of the season. The Oregon St game was on Paramount+, which I already have an account. Watched some of that also. The only problem with the internet games is that you can't just change the channel during commercials. You are pretty much locked into the game the whole time.
I think it's a good way to watch obscure teams that typically aren't on major networks or broadcast in your area. Seems absurd to have big national brands like UGA on there. But I guess there are contracts...
He did a great job.
Yea locking you into the app is what they’re aiming for. It’s why Amazon loves the Thursday night nfl package. Same concept.
As these super conferences continue to grow we are going to see more of this, not less. And with layoffs there will be less talented people filming and commentating on the games which means the coverage will lack.
I hate watching our games on espn+ or secn+ because it feels like Jefferson pilot sports back in the day.
It's still less agonizing than listening to Beth Mowins. 🙉
Yea but I can mute that. If I know I got the best camera crew with all the angles I’d rather have that. I find myself not always listening to the play by play as much unless it is egregiously bad.
Binged out on CFB this past week. Commentary on many of the games started to sound like elevator music. Wasn't even aware it was there.
Have to say, if Murray wants it he can certainly have a career in broadcasting,
I was lucky in that I just happened to have ESPN+ as part of the Hulu/Disney bundle… and I have that because of 1) Georgia football and 2) rewatching Guardians of the Galaxy and old Star Wars films. 🤣
Yeah I have espn+ with Hulu but have it for Scandinavian Curling and Professional Badminton.
Scandinavian Curling, best cure for insomnia I know of.
