Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

Patty Duke and sons…
I loved them both. I enjoyed the vastly different interpretations by each. I will say I liked Brenda Blethyn’s Mrs. Bennett better.
Oh my goodness, I looked up the other actress once and was surprised to learn how accomplished and respected she is because her Mrs Bennett is almost unwatchable at times but I suppose that's what makes her a good actress, lol.
I'll also give a nod to Dame Judi Dench. She made an unlikeable character, slightly likeable.
Is that picture from the movie "Shaft?"
Kirk and Michael Douglas, right? Michael Douglas is almost unrecognizable compared to his earliest work in television.
They played father and son in "Forsaken" 2015.
I did not know that, thanks!
These guys are pretty good…
John / Sean Astin.
John Astin as Gomez Addams is still his best role.
I came here to check up on the Dawgs ahead of the Texas game. But I'm all in on this Pride and Prejudice thread. Great movie and Series. I'm partial to Kiera Knightley myself
Well, for a first post, you got my attention. I'm a bit partial to Keira myself. Best Guinivere ever!!
I'm sorry to hear we've lost Donald Sutherland. He was a fine actor who had a long and productive career.
His role in Eye of the Needle was vastly different from his role in Animal House showing his versatility.
My condolences to his family.
Go, Dawgs!
I'm sorry to hear that as well. Klute, Dirty Dozen and so many other fine performances. Even taught his kid a thing or two. RIP.
Speaking of his “vastly different “ roles and “versatility “ ….. no one could have played the role of Oddball in Kelly’s Heroes the way he did ….. his strung out “sixties eccentric” in WW II was priceless!
That, and his original Hawkeye role in the movie Mash, were my favorites!
Completely different from his father figure in Ordinary People opposite Mary Tyler Moore (my favorite role for her, by the way)!
Go Dawgs! Hate on horns! Dawgs by 17!
