    @kirkhilles

    Perfect comments about Bobo that I agree with. I will never understand Dawg’s fans propensity to get so defensive about him when our Dawgs have NEVER won any of the following with him at the helm as the OC:

    1. SEC Championship
    2. National Championship

    And have won the SEC East, which no longer exists, 2 times in 9+ seasons with him calling plays.

    I have not forgiven him (and never will) for his “First and ****” against SC in Columbia, when he was in his 8th season calling plays for Richt. Gurley had over 130 yards running all over that Gamecock defense the entire game, the same defense that gave up 680 yards against Texas A & M 3 weeks prior.

    1st and goal from the 4 yard line after the defense got a turnover, and the game on the line, end of the 4th quarter, and what does Bobo do?

    Calls a naked bootleg on 1st down!!! With stone footed Hutson Mason at QB (remember him??) and the next two play calls after that are irrelevant-Bobo put Gurley on the back burner with the GAME on the line (against the evil Spurrier, who was laughing his butt off after that game and how ignorant Bobo is)

    Sorry, Dawgs fan defenders of Mike Bobo. You poll 20k Dawgs fans what play call you are going to run there for that series, and 19.9999k of them are going to tell you to give the rock to Gurley on ALL 4 downs, and whatever happens, happens.

    But not Mike Bobo!

    And then, 3 days after that game, when the “reporters” meet with the coaches for interviews on the previous game, this doofus states “Well you can play Monday morning QB on that series of play calls, but that play call gave us the best chance in that situation”.

    Sorry, ya’ll. But Bobo is mediocre on a great day, and NOT humble at all when faced with the fact he was the single cause of failure for that LOSS.

    Lucky for him, one of his best friends happens to be the best head coach in America in Kirby Smart. So lucky for him.

    We Dawg fans, not so much.
