We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

😂😂it took a while but you finally agree with me?? I’ve said all year that I thought the one position we couldn’t lose the starter and win the championship was the qb. You definitely want an experienced qb to lead you thru the playoffs. But I also said that the stats for one half that gunner played against Texas was on par or better than Becks stats against Texas. That is all we have to go on as a comparison of each qb this year. I think we can win the championship but we will need the defense to have 3 stellar games and give short fields and win the turnover battles. As Saban has said Georgia doesn’t lose when it wins the turnover battles. I was also encourage by how the team stepped up and responded after Beck got hurt. But I do think it’s a difficult road ahead. I’m hopeful we can do it but also a realist i know the deck is stacked against us. I think we can beat ND and Penn St. Oregon and Ohio scare me
The next round might be a good indicator for 8 being the magic number now that the lowest seeds are out, though those auto-bids might show this is not the correct 8.
i don’t think that’s what you’ve been saying all year but go off.
Most definitely have said that…Pre season during the season
I fully expect to see BSU and ASU get blown out of the water. I think 6 is the right number. The 4 P-Conference champs get auto-bids plus two at-large. Winning your conference has to mean something. Don't care if UGA loses in the SECCG and finishes 12-1 and BYU wins the B12 at 10-3. BYU gets an auto-bid and Georgia does not. Four conference champs then the next two highest ranked teams. The two top ranked teams in the playoffs get a bye in the first round.
There simply is no way to determine "Best". There is a way to determine "most deserving"…that means win your darn conference.
Also need to go back to 12-team regional conferences.
the issue is playoff numbers go up, never down.
Best hope for the 10-12 regional conferences is for sec/b10/best of b12 and acc to break off from ncaa, form a 40-50 team league and go from there. Four 10-12 team conferences. Take top two per conference, seed them, and go.
That is the only solution if they aren't willing to change it to 6-8 teams.
they’re not willing. Trust me
In a couple months the bad taste of the blow outs will be splained away, just didn't have enough teams, 16 will be the magic number. lol
All teams in the CFP except Oregon know how to lose. We need the D to give v Texas performances here on out and the O line will have to have three of their best games. That’s a lot to ask for three straight games.
Further, something’s gotta change. Too many games for one season. Lots of future CTE.
I think "the committee" will spin the first round blowouts as evidence that they ranked and seeded the teams correctly and the better teams got through as expected.
Other than 4 potentially poor games, the revenue from 12 teams is probably compelling enough to stick with it. Look how many Vols traveled to the game; that's a lot of Copenhagen and Mountain Dew being sold along the way to and from Columbus, OH.
Yes, the committee has been consistently good at one thing: justifying its current rankings by using new criteria which it hadn’t mentioned beforehand.
Copenhagen and Pepsi (Mt. Dew) are two pretty big brands being supported by some severly challenged hillbillies. That may be enough revenue to support awful football games, but you can't fix ****./s
