"It makes you wonder if there's a general malaise over the whole population after a major event like Helene."_____lucydog

I don't think so. Helene took us well into the 4th qtr....but, the dread over top ranked Milton, next on the schedule, probably had everybody a little apprehensive at the Auburn game. We were looking ahead. Lol

God be with us all....and the UGA Bulldogs. Go git em boys!....everybody is still behind you. That ain't goin' away, anytime soon.

JustJust the fact that Kirby took the time to point it out....tells me, he's not the only one that noticed. The players and other coaches may have commented on it in the locker room. Just sayin'.

Fyi.... whether "some people" like it or not....the only place a Head Coach has, to call out a listless fanbase....is at the Post-Game News Conference. He won't be seeing any of us in practice. Try to take it the way it was meant....a swift kick in the butt to fans that weren't puttin' it all on the field.

Lol....why take it personally? You think the players that work their asses off everyday to please the fans, get the opportunity to complain about an ass-chewin'?.

    I agree with Kirby.

But there is one thing to mention.

It had been a hard week for a lot of fans at the game. Including myself. 78 Mph gusts at our home in South Ga., plus loss of power and no water for 5 days. Had to take care of elderly parents who were struggling with oppressive heat. No way to go to a hotel as those anywhere near were powerless. Cleanup took forever. Food lost that was thrown away. Just disaster.

I and my brother were determined to go Saturday. Thought it would be uplifting and a distraction. We found ourselves exhausted by the time we got there (5 hr drive). It was humid and hot. It was almost a reminder of what we had already been thru.

Not excuses….it is just the facts of the matter. It has been depressing, exhausting and now another is close. Mentally drained to the point of having a hard time getting up for being "loud" during a game. Just wish he would have considered that. He was in an area that did not have the same issues as many fans had experienced.

Someone please tell him….please. The energy will return as our lives get back to somewhat normal.

We were worried about getting home before they got on the road. (That’s a joke but based on reality).____Suffering

    That's funny as hell. Lol

I remember going to games with my Dad when I was a kid. I don't think I ever saw the 4th qtr.....much less the end of a game. Heard a lot of em, on the radio, during the ride home. Lol.

It wasn't until I got older that I learned that there were 4 quarters in a game…not 3. Lmao. Ask Kirby and his recruiting staff, how many 4th qtrs they've seen. Bet they leave at halftime, when they're scouting a game.

Nobody likes traffic. The high IQ people beat the traffic. So....if you're smart....Kirby was talking to you. Lol
