There's an interesting angle to this that you guys aren't considering. Lets say that the fans DON'T throw the crap on the field and the play is NOT changed. The optics would've been completely reversed. TEXAS fans would be the ones who would be rightfully upset and they would've claimed that we robbed them of the game. This would've "thrown shade" on our win.

Keep in mind, that we still BEAT THEM by 15 points even if the Call Reversed. That means that NO ONE can contest our win. There is no "what ifs" here. The only thing that could've changed is that we won by more points.

I would personally like to find a site or group that does OBJECTIVE analysis of all plays in a game and determines balance and possible impact. Anyone who claims that "Texas paid the refs" should consider that if anything it looked like WE paid a ref for that awful call. In terms of the TD that was called short, Kirk certainly seemed convinced that he saw proof, but I personally did not see it. It didn't matter in the end, but I'd like to see a screenshot of that proof if it exists and get an official explanation of why it was not changed.

I guaran-****-tee you that an independent officials review would have never ruled targeting on either Jackson or Aguero, just great open field tackles.
