Just watched the “Blue Bloods” series finale that I had recorded. 14 years and still excellent.
Hate to see it go and hate to see what the geniuses at CBS replaces it with.
I guess the geniuses of CBS got tired of good ratings, big fan base, and a stellar cast that took a pay cut to have a season 14. Sad to see it go. For me it was the greatest police procedural show I have ever seen and there were some really good ones out there over the years. Friday night is my wife and ours's date night. We would out to eat dinner, get coffee afterwords then head home in time to watch Blue Bloods. Going to miss the family dinner scenes the most, good times. 😎
Loved that show. Can't recall when I first started watching it. I'm sure I missed some season 1 episodes, if not more. Hope I can find it streamed somewhere in the near future.
I did not know Blue Bloods was ending. In many ways, I will greatly miss it. The writing has been somewhat uneven over the years. Too much political correctness has weaseled its way in, too. It has in my opinion declined but it's still the best police procedural in television history and also a great show about an interesting family.
I'm watching the stellar and excellently done Netflix miniseries Churchill at War. My degree from Georgia is in history, but I think anyone would get a remarkably expanded picture of Churchill and that era were they to watch this super interesting and enjoyable production.
Go, Dawgs!
thanks JW. Added it to my list.
Oh, that sounds great! Thanks for the suggestion.
BTW, History was my minor.

Have you seen The Gilded Age? It’s on HBO. It’s created by Julian Fellowes that also created Downton Abbey. It’s good!

Also just started a new western series called American Primeval. Episode one was pretty brutal.
