Why wouldn't he go somewhere in college for 5 million bucks...he's not about the game as much as he is about the money. Look at the love folks and players had for Fromm and Bennett...they didn't have it for 'slow hand luke'…I was all for players getting paid when teams sold the jerseys w their names on the back...it's weird how the ncaa let the nil thing get so out of hand
I just re-watched the Sugar Bowl. Gunner's arm strength on all throws, deep and intermediate, was evident. If not for the drops and poor O line play, he would have easily thrown for over 300 yards. Too many other errors, not the play of Gunner, cost UGA the game. I look for good competition from Gunner and Ryan in spring ball. With new receivers and more 1st team reps, I expect Gunner to play well. That's assuming O line improvements. As far as Carson, I was always a fan, but when I 1st saw his photo with the Lamborghini, I knew there would be issues. NIL is great for some, but too much for some young men to handle. Just me, but I would prefer Gunner's pickup over any Lamborghini.
I can’t understand putting the fumble on Gunner. That’s on Freeling 100%. Getting hit from behind with arm cocked in throwing position is not the QB’s fault. It’s on the left tackle and the play caller.
