Steve Wiltfong and other national recruiting analysts who are pretty plugged in have made their predictions for Atkinson to Texas. These guys rarely miss when they make a prediction this close to the recruit’s decision day.
Georgia put in a ton of recruiting work on this kid, and he’s been to Athens about 20 times. Texas comes in late, offers more money and possible playing first game. Hmm, sounds like he might be going where he belongs. It’s better to have a player that wants to be at Georgia and that has the want and desire to learn and develop than one that is only looking for the quick buck and wind up in the portal every year.
