Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

And Brian Bosworth? I wouldnt even consider him. Without steroids, he would've never been more than an average LB. He had to have a banned substance to help him become an All American. So, him being rewarded for anything is also funny, and to me, it shows you can cheat and still be rewarded by these experts..
In a way....I agree, @1SICemDAWGS1 .
However....I hate to say it, but....unfortunately, most of the guys that excelled back in the '60's, '70's & early '80's [at a minimum], were on steroid programs. It was more or less, expected, to "do what it takes to compete".
You could say "No" to the steroids [which i did]....but, then you gotta go compete against guys that are on steroids. Trust me....there IS a difference. Lol
My point is, that it's virtually impossible to know with any certainty.…which players were juiced...and which ones weren't. Not without a test, anyway.
So...I'm not going to hold it against The Boz. He was just playing the game they put in front of him, with the tools they gave. I'm almost positive, he was playing against offensive lines that were juiced [at that time]. Which means…it was a fair fight. Lol
I agree, we could go on and on about players listed, and those not listed that others feel were more deserving lol
Charlie Trippi, Bob McWhorter, David Pollack, Roquan Smith, Jake Scott—I guess a lot of teams would have players they felt were left off the list. Its like naming the greatest hit songs of the 70's and 80's.
