There were highs and lows Saturday night in Athens, as Georgia lost yet another game to Alabama, but held the Tide scoreless in the second half. Click below to read my latest Junkyard Blawg:

This is no big deal. It is early in the season and there will very likely be more casualties along the way for a bunch of teams. Dawgs are usually survivors and so let the games begin!

Glad to be someone’s ray of sunshine 😂

I get it about the sting. Crowd was wild Saturday. I’ve never been to a game with more excitement for every little thing that went right, especially when so much didn’t. And then to have THAT ending…

When we were leaving the stadium, though, there were two sorority girls walking out next to me and the kids, and one said to the other, “well, as long as we cream Texas, I’ll feel ok about this one.” I thought that was the best attitude anyone could have had in the moment. As CKS likes to say, we can’t let this one beat us twice.

LoLol.…I tried to tell ya Navy.…I'm not a Homer or perpetual optimist. I'm realist.

And, in reality..…the Dawgs have a very good team, in search of themselves and greatness. The process of getting there, is always dificult, and never pretty to look at, early in the season.

We all know that....but, sometimes, forget in the heat of battle or after a defeat. It's a war, and UGA barely lost 1 battle. It ain't time to tho' in the towel, my friend.

They still have 8 enemies to face....and I wouldn't trade one player or coach for anybody on any team. I trust the process.

And....What is the process, you ask. Better....Never....Rests. The effort was there, Saturday. Guys were put in position to "make a play". And, some, like #11, failed.

But you know who didn't fail? Gaston, Glover & Ellis Robinson. Robinson improved and nobody noticed. That's how it happens. Before you know it....the stew is done and everybody gets to eat.

UGA is still loaded with talent, size, apeed & coaching. I wouldn't undervalue that. Just sayin'

    GO DAWGS!!!

As well they should be dropped. Georgia is not a playoff caliber team and shouldn't even be in the conversation. Mid tier at best

LoLoL.....A Florida Fan, spoutin' off on a Winner's website. How dare you soil this website with swamp stains and Loser tracks. 'Bout to sic the Dawgs on your ass. Lmao

5 more weeks....That's how long you've got. Lol

Have mercy on those poor Gator Fans.

They have to reach out, to know what a Winner feels like. I'm sure DawgNation isn't the only website they haunt.

I hear they bought stock in a Coaching Reseach & Headhunter LLC. Lol
