imageAlabama replaces Georgia as SEC favorite, Gunner Stockton tumbles in Heisman odds

The No. 12-ranked Bulldogs (3-1, 1-1 SEC) took one of the biggest tumbles in AP Top 25 poll, falling seven spots on the heels of their 24-21 home loss to Alabama (3-1, 1-0), and are now fourth among teams favored to win the SEC championship.

All those UGA coaches will still be getting their millions… Smart makes about a million dollars for every game he coaches. That is obscene and sheer madness.

Seriously? Gunner was never going to be a contender for the Heisman. Good grief.

I feel sorry for KY, because I have a feeling they will feel the wrath of Kirby's disappointment and anger sent down upon them on Saturday…and if for some reason we let them hang around as usual then I will officially declare this season a BUST.

@MontanaDawg What anger and disappointment? He doesn’t lose any sleep losing to Alabama bc he believes nobody else can beat them either. He shoulda stayed in Tuscaloosa if he truly believes they have the superior program

one thing to keep in mind…, this Alabama team gave up over 200yards rushing to UGA and we ai t exactly known for our offensive line affectionately.
bama has 2 more losses in em. Mark it down. Just is hard to swallow we lost again. 🤦‍♂️

@Vetdawg…doesn't matter that they gave up that many yards….we couldn't score…and last I checked, all the statistics in the world don't make up for the fact that points are the only thing that matters in the end….and we left a lot of points on the field.

Do you realize that Bama didn't score a single point in the 2nd half and still beat us after only being up by 10 points at halftime?

    Frickin unbelievable.

Who needs to stop the run when their offense just ran us over in the 1st half.

And I see at least 2 more losses for the Dawgs if we play like this again…and after a BYE week…Jimminy cricket. Inexcusable.

We are slowly devolving into a mid-upper level SEC team. This is not an overreaction to one game but my observations and the on-field results of the last 2.5 years. It's funny to me Kirby emphasizes that what makes UGA different is our toughness and physicality especially in the trenches and that's the way he wants it. This is how he deflects criticism about our weak passing game and QB, lack of offensive playmakers and low scoring. But ironically, we are weak in the trenches especially D line, we are not tough, we get pushed around, and we can't get pressure. So which is it Kirby?….if you mean what you say, make the changes needed to get tough and physical again in trenches, because we ARE NOT who you say we are!. Teams used to fear us now we are becoming a national meme and our identity has become a shell of itself. I'm fed up with little to no urgency on this coaching staff to adjust and make changes both off-season and in-game. We as fans deserve better than this…and Kirby you should be becoming a bit embarrassed how this vaulted program is becoming good not great especially for the $13+ mil salary we pay you! I'm done ranting, but last night was just the final straw for me making excuses for this team and program. I realize and appreciate NIL has probably. hurt our program more than most, but we are not adjusting to it well. And for the record, I a big supporter of UGA football as a fan and with my $$$ and I'm seeing the ROI starting to erode quickly!

Gunner played well enough to win that game. His performance was Stetson esque…only problem is he’s not surrounded by nfl talent like Stet was. And the coaching staff is much much weaker than it was. We are just one notch above average now. And I don’t see anything changing unless Kirby makes some very tough decisions in the offseason

It want last, we might play differently against them, but other teams won’t. I wouldn’t be shocked if Vandy beat them again next week. They still have OU, LSU, and Tenn that might beat them

We need to see Todd Monken return or even Sam Pitman…yes I am dreaming. UGA must make a change or changes during the off season. Kirby cannot be this blind! I admit, Bobo did not fumble of miss a game-winning catch…but he is could do a lot more to open up thr offense. Glenn Schumann is a puzzle. The defense is hit and miss. I now go into each game having no idea who will show up. Maddening.

Had an idea to get players and coaches to have "skin" in the games….we play 12 regular season games….for every loss the coaches pay .08% of their yearly salary to the UGA general fund to help defray regular student tuition….players would pay the same percentage of their NIL earnings to the same fund…..OH, BTW, Sam Pittman id available!!!!!!

The whole Cash Jones thing is what eats at me. Nothing against him, DGD actually, but anyone who watches film knows he's getting the ball when he's in the backfield. Bobo might as well phone the play over to Bama. They were not fooled. I'm also stunned why our receivers drop passes. That ball Gunner threw was a perfect pitch and catch and the guy was wide open. Just don't get it. Lots of football left to play, so it's not over yet. We all knew Georgia wasn't getting through the season undefeated, so maybe this lights a fire. The playoffs are the goal.
