If he thinks a motel room is cheaper in Atlanta than Auburn on game day..he hasn't been to Atlanta recently.

Every single comment here is right as rain !! @Kasey rightfully pointed out the root and origin of the problem. The feckless NCAA. There’s really Only ONE way to solve it that I can see and it’d be pretty dawg gone painful. It’d be akin to when the NFL ( which I don’t watch anymore) went to the scab teams during the strikes.

Here it is: Have any and all recruits that want to play sign a contract stating that scholarship, room & board etc. you know like the “ Old Days” is enough Plus a stipend of say $24,000 per year with No state taxes ( can’t help about Fed) ALL players get the exact same !! So that’s a Free education, Free roof over your head, Free food, Oh and meant to add throw in free medical even if non sports related, Plus $2000 per month spending money. Now that’s a heck of allot more than millions of HS grads get !!

There would be no Envy and Jealousy among players as everybody is getting the same thing !! Yes you can still get in trouble on $2000 per month but perhaps with the reduction in $$ maybe money fueled trouble would Also be reduced as well.

Lastly the players would be playing much more for loyalty to school and coaches than to $$. A degree from the University of Georgia for absolute Free !! I’d take it in a heart beat !!

The players may not have the talent of these we see ( then again if everyone has the Same structure to go by maybe wouldn’t be much change) but they’d probably play with heart and desire to try to make the NFL.

I know I know it’s probably way too late to see anything like this. Many of us that are Veterans served in the military with initial pay being far less ! I did, I served when Noah was an admiral !! 🤣
